Originating from the coastal deserts of Northern Chile, this compact cactus is well-adapted to survive in harsh, arid environments.

Appearance: Copiapoa humilis forms small, clumping clusters of spherical to cylindrical stems. The stems are typically dark green to bluish-green, covered in a dense layer of spines that vary in color from white to yellowish-brown.
Size: This cactus remains relatively small, making it ideal for indoor cultivation or for adding to a succulent arrangement. It typically grows to about 5-10 cm in height.
Flowers: In the spring and summer, Copiapoa humilis produces beautiful, bright yellow flowers that emerge from the apex of the stems. These flowers add a delightful splash of color to the plant’s otherwise muted tones.
Care: This cactus thrives in well-draining soil and requires minimal watering, making it perfect for busy plant parents or those new to cacti cultivation. It prefers full sun but can tolerate some partial shade. Ensure the soil dries out completely between waterings to prevent root rot.
